Hétérocères de Guyane
La grande majorité des lépidoptères photographiés ci-dessous a été identifiée grâce aux excellents sites internet : Hétérocères de Guyane française,
Arctiidae de Guyane française.
Certains clichés nous ont été proposés par des membres de l’ALF. Parmi ceux qui, non membres de notre association, ont accepté la publication de leurs photos sur cette page, nous remercions particulièrement Ott Maasikas (et son amie Kati), jeune photographe estonien. Depuis plusieurs mois, il photographie, avec talent, la vie sauvage – notamment batraciens et reptiles – autour de la Montagne de Kaw. Ses photos sont visibles sur cette page.

Nice pictures. I can confirm the Cicia pelota that has a question mark after that name. I am pretty sure all other Saturniidae are identified correctly. I am starting to work on Ott’s Sphingidae, and I think (not completely sure) the one identified as Xylophanes media is more likely Xylophanes guianensis.
